Hey, y'all welcome back to another Yeshayah thoughts. This week I want to talk about the importance of using the correct vehicle washing detergent in your auto detailing journey. That may seem silly but it’s a rather important topic because all soaps are not created equally. Just like soap used on your skin with various degrees of harmful and/or beneficial ingredients the same is for car soap. Most of us who DYI our car washing services use home detergents or those major brands (whose names we shall not name.) Be mindful that soap also carries a PH level that can be harmful to your car's paint. So if you’re using dish soap or laundry detergents with high PH levels it will eventually and rather quickly cause your vehicle paint to dull, create oxidation, or even began chipping. Avoid these harsh chemicals and look for more professional-grade detergents. Doing so will add luster and shine to the paint for years to come.
